Kick off the Vet & Vintage Race weekend with a classic Steak BBQ Dinner at Gopher Dunes. Held the evening before race day, this laid-back gathering brings together riders, families, and fans for a great meal and even better company. It’s the perfect chance to unwind, swap stories, reconnect with friends, and soak in the atmosphere before the gates drop.

Set inside the Gopher Dunes Bike Museum, the BBQ is more than just dinner - it’s part of the experience. Surrounded by the history of the sport, with the smell of the grill in the air and the buzz of the crowd all around, it’s where old memories are shared, new connections are made, and the weekend officially comes to life. Whether you're racing, supporting, or just there for the vibe, this is a can’t-miss part of the Vet & Vintage weekend.

Legendary riders and classic bikes go head-to-head! If you’re 30+, there’s a class waiting for you - step up, line up, and be part of the action

All race registration will be completed on-site. Riders can register on Friday evening during the Steak BBQ Dinner from 5:00PM - 6:00PM, or Saturday morning at the Back Track from 7:15AM - 8:45AM.

Whether it’s a fully restored classic, a rare vintage gem, or a well-loved bike with stories to tell, the Show & Shine is all about pride, detail, and appreciation for the machines that still turn heads today. If you’ve got a bike you’re proud of but aren’t racing, this is your moment to roll it out, clean it up, and put it on display for the entire Gopher Dunes community to admire.

Throughout the morning, spectators, riders, and fellow enthusiasts will be checking out the lineup, sharing stories, and taking in the craftsmanship that makes each bike unique. It’s more than just a display - it’s a gathering of people who live and breathe motocross, united by a shared respect for the past and the machines that got us here.

All bikes entered in the Show & Shine will be eligible for awards, recognizing standout builds, restorations, and fan favourites. Winners will be announced following the races during the after-race meal, making it the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable day at the dunes.

Whether you're making it a weekend adventure or just need a spot to crash after the action, we’ve got you covered with camping and cabin rentals right on-site!

  • Price: $35 per vehicle, per night

  • No hookups (no water/electricity available)

  • Plenty of space available for both tents and trailers

  • Fires must be contained in a fire pit

  • Firewood and ice available for purchase in the pro shop

  • Porta potties on-site

  • Pack it in, pack it out - keep your campsite clean!

For those looking for a bit more comfort, we offer rustic off-grid cabins just steps away from the track!

  • Anyone over the age of 30 can ride on a modern or a vintage bike.

    Anyone under the age of 30 can ride on a Vintage, Heritage, or Evo Bike.

    • Vintage Class is for 1976 bikes & older

    • Heritage Class is for 1977 to 1986 bikes

    • Evo Class is for 1987 to 2005 bikes

  • This event is run as an organized fun day with no scoring and no prizes or awards.

  • It is more of an old-school track with moderate to small jumps and a soil consistency of a dark sandy topsoil to sandy loam.
