"RICKY CARMICHAEL RIDE DAY" -- Monday, July 19

We will be excited to welcome our special guest star: Ricky Carmichael who will be making an appearance here on Monday from 9am to 1pm. We welcome all his fans and followers to come out and hopefully get a glimpse, maybe a photo or two plus some autographs....

A training seminar will take place that day between 9am to 4pm for the 10 lucky winners that have been selected from across Canada. This contest has been sponsored by West49, Fox & Suzuki and at approx. 1pm a special draw will take place to find out which of the 10 qualified contestants will be the 3 lucky winners of a brand-new 2010 Suzuki DR-Z 125 dirt bike!

We welcome all Ricky Carmichael fanatics and motocross enthusiasts to come out for this 'chance of a lifetime' opportunity and meet your all-time hero!! We will also be open on Monday as a regular recreational practice ride day for both the track and trails from 11am to 6pm at the rider fee of $20. The pee-wee track will be used intermitantly for the training session, at which times it will not be available to the public.

Donations will be accepted at the gate on July 19 with all proceeds going towards the 2010 Canadian Motocross des Nations Team. This event will be taking place at the Thunder Valley Motocross Park facility near Denver, Colorado on September 25 & 26, 2010.
Sunday overnight camping will be allowed at a fee of $10 per vehicle per night.

Gate Admission:

Weekend Rate - $40 per Adult
- $25 to age 11
- Free for preschoolers

Weekend Camping Rate - $20 per vehicle

Gates open for the public on Friday, July 16 at 5pm off Hwy 59....Gates
lock at 11pm.

Gates reopen on Saturday, July 17 at 6:30am off Hwy 59 & moves to 2nd.
Conc. by 9am....Gates lock Saturday evening at 11pm.

Gates reopen on Sunday, July 18 at 6:30am off 2nd. Conc.

IMPORTANT RULES:

No ATV's allowed on premises (with exception of security staff & race team
pit crews).

Due to a County burn ban in effect caused by dry conditions, campfires will
not be allowed.

All dogs must be on leashes.

There will be concession booths on-site for both Saturday and Sunday.

There will be a beer tent on the premises on Sunday only, offered by the
Courtland Firefighters.

It is mandatory to use sealed containers to properly dispose of your oil
and gas.

Absolutely no pit motorcycle riding, pit bikes, golf carts, etc. Race bikes at walking speed only to get to & from race.

All noise levels at minimal after 11pm, including generators! PRO PITS at 10:00pm

Absolutely no dumping of your sewage on Gopher Dunes property; anyone
caught doing so will be fined up to $500 and made to shovel up and take home their mess!

Please keep your campsite/parking area clean & use the garbage bins.

For those not capable of abiding to these rules and using common sense, we
invite you to stay home or play elsewhere. For those that are making their
way down to partake in this amazing event at the Dunes, we wish you a safe
drive & a great race weekend!
